In terms of education, I have a bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering, a master’s degree in business administration, and a doctorate in marketing management. In terms of background and work experience, I started working semi-professionally in 2006, and after completing my military service in 2011, I entered the industry professionally, specifically the automotive industry. In the early years of my career, I worked in a large holding company, where my academic studies and skills in the field of industrial automation greatly contributed to my growth and visibility at this time.
During that period, one of the senior managers, who always have a debt of gratitude to me as a professor, discovered my main talents; because I was working very accurately and more up-to-date than the rest of the departments and colleagues in terms of calculations, mastery of numbers, and reporting, this matter caught the attention of the senior management and they asked me to enter the field of commerce, which required more accuracy and trust. Entering this field after a short time made me think of continuing my studies in the same field to strengthen my scientific foundation in this field. Because I believe that it is better for experience and science to move forward together. With the grace and providence of God, from those years, my experiences in large and larger companies became complete and my professional personality became more mature.
One of the turning points of my working life was formed in 1400 by joining the large Mammut Holding, which is rightly considered a shining jewel of the country’s industry. I can boldly say that modern management thinking and up-to-date development models can be experienced closely in this complex.

The very distinctive feature of the Mammut complex for me was that in this complex, it is never satisfied with the current situation and development is considered an ever-living principle in it. At Mammoth, by achieving each goal, new goals are created with a more beautiful perspective to achieve, and new peaks are created to conquer; this principle gives the organization and all individuals the opportunity to grow and develop. The unique opportunity to cooperate with such a large group is always appreciated by me, and I hope to have an impact worthy of this group.

For the audience, tell us a little about the challenges of today’s industry, as the CEO of a very large group.

In my opinion, the challenge of human resources and leadership of the new generation is perhaps the most important challenge today for our industry and even the entire world. The main burden of industries today is on the shoulders of the new generations, and in the case of this generation, management over the organization’s people has given way to leadership over hearts. I recommend that you definitely read the book The Role of the Heart in Management, written by the late Mojtaba Kashani; which has emphasized this very issue.
Another event that I think is very influential in the field of human resources and will brighten the future is the development of courageous personnel to make correct and quick decisions, which will create agility at all levels of the organization.

If possible, tell the audience about the successes you have achieved through this spirit of empathy.

Since joining the sales unit, I have tried my best to create the belief among the team that with empathy and practice, all goals are achievable, and I remind my friends that if there are a thousand reasons not to do something right, one reason is enough to do it and make the efforts bear fruit. With this team spirit, a lot of effort was made with the support of all my dear colleagues at Mammut; I will limit myself to just one example. Thanks to our good work team in 1401, we recorded a mammoth sales record and with the efforts of this sympathetic team, this will happen again this year and despite the ups and downs of the economy this year, we will break the previous year’s record again. For next year, we have set bigger and more challenging goals, which is the result of the relentless efforts of each and every part of the organization.

How do you define innovation? And in your opinion, how important is innovation in large organizations today?

Let me answer both questions in one sentence, in my opinion, innovation in today’s competitive world is a condition for survival and of course this is not limited to industry and work; innovation is also a condition for a healthy and vibrant personal life. In my opinion, the condition for survival, survival and sustainable development of today’s businesses is innovation and development, which are intertwined.
I would also add that innovation is not simply about doing something extraordinary, and in my opinion, at least in our beloved country of Iran, for various reasons, there are countless opportunities today to realize innovation and achieve abundant development opportunities.

How do you see the relationship between digital technologies, data, and innovation? Do all innovations need to be in the field of advanced digital technologies?

Let me start with an example from marketing science; for example, many people call Tide washing powder, while Tide was just a brand of washing powder; but everyone mentions the former first. Now, when it comes to innovation, everyone says digital technology, why? Because these industries put themselves on the path of innovation faster and surpassed the rest.
The question that arises is whether other industries can also be as prominent in innovation? Yes, but why is it not like this in our country; in my opinion, as an industrialist, regardless of position and position, there is still no firm belief in innovation in our industry. You will understand this from the changes in domestic automobiles in the past 40 years compared to leading companies. We are not lacking anything in the world in terms of size and scope; but the deficiency is in innovation. Training managers and employing people who are both familiar with the science of management and who have a heartfelt belief in innovation in the country’s industry may be a more feasible version for the development of today’s industry in Iran. I quote Mr. Jack Ma, owner of Alibaba, who says: “By 2030, more than 800 million jobs will be lost; but there is no need to worry; because more than a billion alternative jobs will be created, which require being equipped with future literacy, of which IT and the digital world are integral parts.” Future research also shows that with rapid innovations from 2030 to 2050, the world will be pregnant with very different and perhaps strange changes and events.

Final words

I do not see myself in a position to give any advice. But I sincerely and deeply believe that the Iran of the future will be a beautiful and powerful Iran that only its people, with their powerful hands and positive-thinking spirit, will bring to that point. To conclude, I would like to say that the main condition for being on this path is that we must trust the youth, and I owe my own development and growth to this trust. From the beginning of my employment until today, when they trusted me as a young manager with the trust of dear Mr. Momeni and entrusted me with this important and serious responsibility.
So I also believe that we should trust the youth and provide them with our experiences; so that we can all witness a better tomorrow together.
